I'm your classic computer geek and book nerd. I'm introspective and tend to overthink things, like writing dating site profiles. When I was a little kid I wanted to be a scientist when I grew up. However, math never really interested me so I ended up doing computer stuff with the interwebs. But I still see the world through a scientific lens, and learning more about the universe I inhabit is the most fascinating thing I can imagine. Like the evil Brain Spawn of Futurama, I feel compelled to know everything â?? and soon I will!

My interests include: history (Egyptian and Roman primarily), mythology, world religions (though I myself am not religious), psychology, philosophy, and physics. Not that I'm an expert on any of these topics, but I am interested in them.

I know it's cliche to say that you don't know what to say in these description boxes, but alas that is what I am saying to you now. I am a fun person who likes to be around other people. I work in politics which is a whole lot of my life and something that is important to me.

I can put on a good face but I am always nervous around new people who i don't know. Ya...I'm that guy.

I am originally from Butte, I've lived in Missoula for about 7 years now. Some of my interest include cooking, music, guitar,film, day dreaming, and sometimes getting my self into trouble. I am with a guy 27 1/2 years younger, my third husband. We live on the edge of a unincorporated town backed by "The Bob," Bob Marshall Wilderness on one side and the Mission Mountains on the other.

The past ten years in Montana have been quite a change from 25 years of suburban New Jersey; a change for the better in most ways. I worked there testing superconducting wire, and also as a psychic.

I am a single mom, however that doesn't define me, just adds to the whole. My son does rock, though,funniest kid i know.

I am going to school in Missoula, majoring in Psyc. I love little children and want to work with those that have been abused/molested after I graduate. Other things I love... rain, the smell of pumpkins, funny people, House/True Blood/The L Word, basketball..watching or playing.. One of the first things I notice about other people are their teeth. I absolutely love amazing teeth. I'm not so interested in politics.. at all really. I love meeting friendly people just in every day life. I also enjoy going grocery shopping. But that's about the only kind of shopping that I really enjoy. Unless i'm buying something for other people. Christmas makes me happy just for that reason. But the Fourth of July would have to be my favorite holiday. Writing is fun..poetry in particular. And reading other people's good poetry. Also good grammar is a huge turn on.. hah. My seasonal job allows me to make a living working long hard hours during the early spring, on threw summer, and ending early fall. During this time I also fish for salmon & halibut which helps feed me threw the winter months. In the late fall, after the work season ends, I travel back to MT for a couple of months to visit family and do some hunting with friends.

I write 99 on my finger to remember how certain people in my life linger still, even long after they're gone.

I've talked to a lot of different people from a lot of different places and after a while everyone starts sounding the same. Eventually all the names start soundings familiar and you start to wonder if you've talked to them before. And then you can't even remember who you're talking to in real life or who told you what and everything starts to run together.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that I'm looking for people who will stick out from the sea of faces. People memorable, unique just like I am, or so I've been told.

Let's see... I was born and raised in Missoula. I've lived a few other places, but recently came back to get another degree. I'm fairly easy going, and I live my life from day to day, do what I have to do, enjoy myself and look forward to the next day. I suppose I should put something in here. I don't know why they require paragraph upon paragraph. It makes most people to have a tendency to ramble on just to meet the requirement...like me. I know its cliche to say well you really have to meet me to get to know me, which is true but is not always practical. I would describe myself as a liberal thinker, been thru the conservative religious thing and thats not for me. I get peeved when people bend and distort the truth, politics is interesting but it no longer holds the awe that it once did. It seems its all about getting elected now and to heck with policy or trying to make things better. How much ya can line your pockets is the name of the game. Not interested in that. Interaction with other people can be fun, if they bring a positive light to things. I'm new to this and really don't know what to say. However I'm tried of not knowing anyone, never going anywhere or doing anything. I moved to Missoula in the summer of 2007 to be closer to my parents (who live down in the Bitterroot) and my oldest son (who's going to college in Butte). I have three children, boy-20, girl-17- working on her GED, boy-(almost)14-in 8th grade. I have a dog, two cats, two snakes, a bunch of mice (food for the snakes) and a fire belly toad as my current pets (I love animals). I love to read, watch movies and listen to music. I tend to spend most of my time indoors, but would spend more time outside if I have someone to be there with me. I would love to make some friends. I miss cuddling on the couch watching movies, and just having someone to talk to about my day.

My favorite color is pink, but I'm not a "girly-girl". I don't wear a lot of make-up, rarely do more to my hair than wash it and brush it. I own a few dresses and get "dressed up" every once in a while, but for the most part "dressing up" means boots and a nice sweater with my jeans instead of sneakers and a t-shirt.

Just so I can be sure I'm not misleading anyone: I am still "legally" married. I've been separated from my (hopefully) soon-to-be-ex-husband for about four years now. One of the bonuses of moving to Montana is that I could be somewhere new without him.

I work in theater so my life is full of long days working and long days setting around looking for something to do. I enjoy going down town with friends and having a good time. I hate writing these things because I never seam to know what to say so the best way to get to know me is just by messaging me or even better getting together with me down town for a cup of coffee of some other drink.

This is hard to fill out. For a long long time all I wrote here was "I wish instead of straight/bi/gay I could put '80% straight.' no one's 100% anything anyway." Iâ??m originally from the zoo town, but Iâ??ve lived all over the western side of the state. A couple years at Carroll, a couple more at MSU and three more in Hamilton at RML. I like to ski (go figure by the user name), mountain bike, fish, hunt, and would like to get back into flying a bit. Iâ??m also always up for some traveling. Most of the time the destination is irrelevant, I just like to try new things and experience it all. Currently, Iâ??m in a quaint house near Missoula with big horn sheep in my yard most days. Truthfully, I'm a down-on-his-luck graduate student who was attending Purdue University when I nearly died from a post-op infection in my knee. I have spent the last several months trying to recover from 3 surgeries, a bone infection, and chronic anemia.

But, I'm getting better. I've returned to Montana to be with family whilst I heal up. I don't think I'll return to Purdue; Indiana was a lonely place for me, and it had a distinct lack of mountains.

I'm a geeky computer guy, but I love the outdoors more than anything. I haven't been able to do a lot of the things I love this year because of injury, but fortunately PCs and PS3s don't require knees to operate. I really miss hiking with my dog, the physical therapists and I are doing our best to get me back on the trails again. Just a few more months...

I am a scientist who loves the outdoors and is in good shape. Hiking, fishing, hunting, firewooding, and horseback riding are all favorite activities. I take my two dogs with me whenever I can. I hate the cold, though.

You only live once you might as well try to do new things as much as you can. Also I love food. All kinds of food. And coffee. I don't find it so much a necessity as much a delectable treat in life. I also love to go walking in the rain at night. and really any night walk is nice, especially if you are with someone that carries on a good conversation. Anyways I also like to read. I love going camping. And I enjoy playing video games and board and card games. I like going to parties and meeting new people. Really I love just hanging out. What is one thing you will not tolerate in a relationship? - Lying. I hate that! why can't people just tell the truth?

Are you the type of person who always needs to be in a relationship?- Nope. I'm perfectly happy being single. but its still nice to have someone to enjoy life with.

Have you ever been miserable, yet happy at the same time? - Yes but in the long run i think i was mostly miserable and the happy didn't make up for it as much as I thought. hence why I'm not in those kind of situations now.

When was the last time you were let down? - Hehe everyday that I have to go to work I am let dawn by the person who yells at me for prices I have no control over.

Approximately how much is everything you're wearing now worth? - Well I got most of it for free as hand me downs. My friends are awesome!

What is a song that reminds you of your ex? - lots of songs. songs are like memories to me. i hear a song and i remember a moment.

Have you ever got all the way to the mall and forgot all your money? - I don't really go to the mall but if I am it is usually to buy a game form game stop but no i tend to always know where my money is.
